On March 6, 2019 Dalis actively participated in the Entrepreneurship Days for Territorial Development at the Faculty of Economics Science of the León Campus, with the intention of publicizing our project and business experience among young students and future entrepreneurs.

It was about looking for models of tractor companies with special dynamic capacity in rural areas, among which the role of the agri-food industry can be very relevant.

These sessions were an initiative of the Leonese delegation of the Association of Spanish Seniors for Technical Cooperation (SECOT) and have been supported by the Employment Department of the Junta de Castilla y León and by the Vice-Rector's Office for Students and Employment at the University of Lion. The objective of these sessions is to bring future entrepreneurs a very suggestive reality: the industry of the agri-food sector is a more than viable business option for the future that also sets the population. We know a lot about this at Dalis, our production center located near Astorga, testifies to our commitment to the rural world.

During the day we had the presence of Mr. Carlos Fernández Carriedo, Employment Counselor of the Board, Mr. RafelPuyolAntolín, Ex-rector of the Complutense University of Madrid and President of Secot nationwide, Mr. Jose Ignacio Lagartos , President of Secot in León, among others.

Mr. Rafael Puyol offered a brief conference in which he discussed how entrepreneurial initiatives in the field of agri-food are one of the solutions to the problem of depopulation and aging of the rural world; He also exposed some very interesting parallels with other regions, such as the case of the experience in the Scottish highlands with problems very similar to those in this part of Spain but addressed in a way that can be reproduced here. These are examples of how fostering the business fabric linked to the rural world, and incorporating its values, can provide future perspectives to these areas.
